THE BEGINNING...

Hello, my name is Dr. Jonathan C. Dean PsyD, CEO of Motivation Specialist, LLC.

You know, I have to tell ya, when I wrote "CEO", I felt kinda nervous. Wow, I now have an opportunity to provide affordable services that can and will help others to “be all that they can be.” Throughout my life I have always been encouraged to pursue my dreams and goals and to help others along the way.

After departing the Marine Corp in which I served 7 years; I began my counseling career working with adolescent males in a residential treatment facility for 7 years... something about the number 7 huh? hahahahaha. Ok, so for approximately 5 years I was self employed as a professional fitness trainer (in home service). For the past 10 years to present; I facilitated psychoeducation /process groups for various agencies in the San Diego area. 

As an independent contractor, I provide clinical services for the San Diego County Probation Department as well as Family Court Services. I also facilitate “exclusive” domestic violence education. I also work for the Federal Government as an Addiction Therapist. Lastly, as a Professional Life Coach (Confidant) I have an opportunity to assist CEO’s, Students, Athletes, Parents, Professionalls etc in addressing their circumstances.

 
It is understood that trials and tribulations are a part of life. As above mentioned, I assist my clients in exploring ways in which they can negotiate dilemmas as a means of accomplishing their goals. I have also learned that team work is essential. Yes, the time has come for all of us to "stand up" and to be our very best....”it’s ok to live your dreams.”
